What do I use the mouth spray for?

The mouth spray is the ideal companion for on the go, whether for the car, handbag or luggage.
The spray is used for oral hygiene and to freshen breath.
The propolis, menthol and eucalyptus give it a pleasant and calming effect.
Provides relief from pressure points in the mouth (gums/throat/neck).
Can have a positive effect on periodontal protection in the mouth.

Why propolis in mouth spray?

To produce propolis, worker bees collect resin from wounds and leaf buds of various trees.
In the beehive, the resin is mixed with the bee's own secretions, wax, and pollen balsam to form an oily substance from the pollen coating. A large bee colony in this country produces just 50 to 150 grams of the resulting mixture, now called propolis, per year.
The bees use the precious resin as a cement. They use it to glue the honeycombs together and seal cracks in the hive. This optimally protects their hive from heat, cold, and rain.
Propolis is not only an excellent building material, but it also has an antibiotic effect, which means it inhibits the proliferation of pathogens.

Propolis is known for its ability to reduce inflammation. Researchers believe that this property is primarily due to the caffeic acid derivatives in bee resin. According to a scientific study in Oxford, the anti-inflammatory effect of propolis is twice that of acetylsalicylic acid—the active ingredient in many headache pills (source: S. Stangaciu, T. Schachtner, 1999).

Recommended use
Propolis is used internally and externally in naturopathy due to its powerful anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and antioxidant properties, particularly in the form of anti-inflammatory ointments and mouthwashes. In addition, bee resin is valued as a remedy for infectious diseases and immune deficiency, as well as for strengthening resistance in healthy people.

Alternative medicine practitioners see the advantage of propolis over conventional antibiotics in that the bee resin does not destroy the colonization of the intestine by natural bacteria.

Note for allergy sufferers

Please do not use if you are hypersensitive to propolis.
