These are so-called proanthocyanidins, also known as PACs. Doppelherz system capsules use a high-quality cranberry extract with 36 mg PAC content in combination with pomegranate juice powder, as well as vitamin C, zinc, and selenium. Therefore, just 1 capsule daily is sufficient to achieve the PAC amount used in nutritional studies.

The cranberry is also known as the "large bog berry" and grows in the bogs of North America, closely related to the European lingonberry and blueberry. It was already a valued and important food for the indigenous people of North America.

Pomegranate
The pomegranate is arguably one of the most interesting and mysterious fruits in the world and one of the oldest cultivated plants in the Middle East.
